Title:Simplifying the Annual and New Hire Online Lawson Benefit Enrollment

The Online Lawson Benefit Enrollment is a Lawson Self Service application that is missing some key functionality to make it easy for companies to use.   Some favorite enhancements we have added to the application are the following:

  • Added Evidence of Insurability functionality by splitting out eligible and pending plans to allow users to continue through enrollment.  We then auto enroll the user in a pending EOI plan and eligible EOI plan.
  • Capturing of elected doctors for HMO Plans
  • Adding interdependency and filtering of benefit plans to that users enroll in the correct plans.
  • Added a ''''Keep Change'''' functionality to allow annual users to only change the benefits they want from the previous year.   This keeps the users from having to go through the entire enrollment every year and is a great addition for user exceptance
  • Dependent Maintenance at the beginning of the enrollment to insure all dependents are availiable during the enrollment
  • Reduced the number of clicks for each benefit plan election to an average of 1-2 clicks per plan.
  • Added EOI auto form creation for the user to print out at the end of the enrollment
  • Extended the plan description and coverage description to 60 characters
